Why would an adult suddenly become sensitive to tags, socks, clothing?
Over the past few months, I have felt incredibly irritated with my socks, tags in my clothing, and even my clothing itself. My skin even feels like an outfit that was put on but was several sizes too tight. I have no idea what might be causing this (no change in detergent, food, etc.) I am not A.D.H.D. or anything, this just came on suddenly during a stressful time, and hasn't gone away. Even touch from others is so irritating that I have to make them stop, and I pull away.
Any ideas on what might cause this?

Dry skin... stress can intensify dry skin. You could also have the same detergent, but if its a new bottle/box, they could've changed the formula or you could have developed and allergy you didn't have before.

make sure you are moisturising, peoples skin can change throughout age.
