Do you like to daydream? How often do you daydream?

People think that daydreaming is sign of laziness. Lately some research have proved that the brain works during our daydreaming time. Do you daydream? Is it useful? I seldom daydream, but I have noticed that it is useful to me. I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks for answering.

Most people naturally daydream. But did you know that daydreaming can be an illness? There is such a thing as Maladaptive Daydreaming. It's a condition that causes obsessive daydreaming. Take a look at this article:

    http://daydreamingdisorder.webs.com/

People who have it will also sometimes compare it to an addiction. They also may pace or do some other repetitive movement while they daydream.

I have Maladaptive Daydreaming. I wish I "seldom" daydreamed as you say you do. To answer your question, I must daydream about 80% of the time, if not more. I don't want to do this; it's just what my mind naturally does. It may sound like a joke, but this problem has done a lot to stop me from having a real life. If you really seldom daydream; I envy you your focus on the world. I wish that I could do the same.

I daydream a lot. I daydream about things that make me happy and it's nice to just get out of reality, you know?

daydreaming is not a symbol of laziness. It increases our efficiency to work more powerfully. We become more positive during this process of daydreaming because all the scenes, situations are our creations that give joys and beauty to think. Really this way is my practical and never loss me. If I daydream for 10 minutes then can work more for 1 hour. do and feel urself.

Ya I daydream a lot. I find it useful because I usually daydream different situations. Like I would daydream what I would do if my crush came up to me and started talking. Stuff like that, so when it happens (hopefully) then you'll casually go through it like you're a pro. :)

Unfortunately I have an over-active imagination, so I daydream very, very often, every day. I haven't benefited from this at all (that I've observed), but because I fall victim to it so frequently, I have a very hard time keeping up in class. I do like it, though. It's my only real peace throughout the day.

Well daydreaming is like cutting your connection towards reality

and setting your mind floating aloof on your own imagination

It is like a yacht ,boat cruising or on a journey to the sea there is no bounderies

to where you may go . Seemingly it's also true you can think whatever you desire.

Daydreaming is fun because you get to escape the situation you're in or whatever you're doing at the moment. i daydream when i'm bored, which is most of the time..

I do enjoy to daydream. at least a few times a day. I use my day dreams as a way to figure out my goals and how to obtain them.
