Is this depression or somthing else?

Well i do have some characteristics of depression, but i'm not sure if this can be something else entirely;

During nighttime, when the whole house is sleeping, out of nowhere i start thinking about just this one subject about staying FOREVER in heaven, and i mean forever, think about it. Like that book Tuck Everlasting, in 5th grade when we read it my teacher made me think. even before that when i was extremely young i always thought about death and would cry a lot about it. no one knew though.

it seems like a lame reason to get racing thoughts and start panicking in the middle of the night for i know, but i can never properly explain to you the feelings i get.

lets see i also sleep usually around 1 or 2 am and when i was younger (im 15 in Jan) i would sleep at even 4 or 5am. no doubt im the last to go to sleep in the house, and the last to wake up as well. it doesnt bother me though.

I easily starting losing interest in certain things nowadays, and everything seems so BORING. it feels like if you place anyone at all in front of me, whether their famous or w/e, i couldnt care less.

I'm desi if that matters, and well i'm moody i suppose.

There's probably more but i missed it, help?

    Hi, my friend. Happiness is a choice.

    Peace only comes when our hearts are at peace, full of love, having been forgiven by Christ, and on the pathway to Holy Repentance - a change of mind, a change of direction from evil ways to righteous ways.

    God Bless

    You definitely have some form of a depressive disorder, which may be minor depression. But the sleeping habits are a total different concern. I think may have narcolepsy, where you sleep at abnormal times and even a minor case of Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) where you lose attention. I am not guaranteeing you have these, but it definitely looks like it. You may have another mood or sleep disorder, but this is how you really find out; I would highly recommend by first talking to a responsible adult, be it your parents or your school guidance counselor. Tell them about this and ask them if you can see a therapist. I would recommend you start of by seeing a therapist and then a Psychiatrist; they will give you a full evaluation and find out what is exactly wrong with you. There is non-medical therapy and medication out there to help you; either one or both may be right for you. Based on your case, I think a combination of both is a good choice. I hope you take my advice and I wish you the best of luck in your therapy.

    BTW, I'm desi too! :)
