Linksys router (Wireless B) wireless option keeps dying?

It's a 7-year old router. The wireless portion cuts-out about every 30 minutes or so. I've checked the settings (it's set for a 2-day client, aka set to zero) but lately I'll lose connectivity with all my wireless devices and have to recycle power.

I believe I've checked all the settings at 192.168.1.1 and have them correct, and I have tried different channels for interference issues. Directly plugging the Cat6 cable in directly causes no problems or dropouts.

Is my router too old? Is this a common dying router issue?

My Linksys router didn't last nearly that long before it died completely. You've gotten your use out of it. Time to get a new one.
