No, we don't own any trains, unfortunately.

They are wonderful to see in full action, though. I do miss seeing those old style Lionels. I remember watching them when I was little. During the holidays I miss my parents not being here anymore. I especially miss my Dad and how he would say, "Hi, honey.

Yes.One of my fondest memories was having a Lionel Train running around the Christmas tree.

I wished I had that 59 Desoto Station Wagon track car with functioning headlights.I could sell that and retire.

I bought a 1955 Lionel train set at an auction sale last summer.

Mint condition, still in the box.

I thought it would impress the grand kids....wrong!

But, I enjoyed watching my husband play with it.
