Would you take your kid out?
So I live in OKC and we had over a foot of snow today. The storm is now gone but temps are gonna hover around 30 with teen wind chills. Would you super bundle your kid and take them out in this? OKC NEVER gets this much snow. The best we can expect if it snow at all is a light dusting... so this may be the only time my daughter gets to see this, even if she won't remember it. She is only two. We have a snow suit sent to her by her New Englander grandparents and plenty of layers so proper attire isn't an issue. Would you take your young toddler out just for the experience (and pictures...lol) or just say That's Nice, and keep them inside because of the temps?

It won't hurt her if she's bundled up. Kids are a lot hardier than you might think.
She'll have a ball, and so will you. And you can take pictures to show her boyfriends when she is 15 and embarrass her. ;-)

I'm not a parent but teen wind chills are nothing. I used to walk to college (half-hour walk) with my coat unzipped when the temp was in the teens. It only worries me when the wind chills are below zero. And yes, I live in Iowa so I'm talking Fahrenheit not Celsius. And don't worry; being out in the cold will not cause her to catch a cold.

If you have the proper attire then I definitely would! Especially since you don't get much snow. Have fun and Merry Christmas!

Why on earth would you keep her inside?
It's Christmas! It's snowing where you are! Let the kid outside, out of the house and into the big scary world - complete with snow -, and quit being such an overprotective twit. She's two for pete's sake - she'll cry if she's too cold and let you know when she wants to go on.

Yeah but not for long maybe an hour or less. She could catch a cold even all bundled up.

I would take her out for a little bit.
