What is the best way to sort personal photos.?
I have a lot of personal photos (All in digital form). Many of them being with my girlfriend. I don't remember when most of the photos were taken. So it is not possible for me to sort them according to the date they were taken or by person involved. Any suggestions on how else i can sort such a collection of photos?

Seems like you have a bit of a problem mate.
If it's impossible to sort them by date (even the date in the EXIF) or even person involved, then I have one suggestion for you. Bear in mind that any suggest will involve having to go through each picture individually. Yes it's tedious but if you want it organized then you have to do it.
Depending on the amount of picture involved, it shouldn't take you that long if you work straight through. I have managed to go through roughly 2000 picture myself in about an hour.
So what's the big solution? Organize them by theme.
It can be a location (back home, different city, at the park, at the club). Or any other theme that may involve the both of you.
Use a program such as ACDSEE to help you. Or have the source and destination folders open in Windows side by side so that you can easily drag between the two.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Use flickr.com.
You can upload 200 for free and any amount for a small charge ($24.95 a year).
The point is you can set up any number of sets of photographs and sort your photos as you wish. You can have your pics in more than one set at a time and view them in many sizes.
If the exif is intact you can sort by date taken, automatically.
You can have your pictures private so that only you can see them or share them as you wish.
