Would Toys R Us let me return a train set that has been opened?
We got this train set for my son for Christmas, he hates it. So I would like to return it, I looked up their return policy and it talks about radio control returns you cant get refunds in cash for. It's not a radio controlled item, it has a transformer that plugs into the wall. I also asked the cashier before I bought it, and she said I could. I'm just afraid that they will give me a hard time, they have a bad reputation on the internet for store returns.

Yes...as long as you have the reciept they should have no problem refunding your money. The only time they really have a problem with is is when it is something like a cd dvd or game because you could have burned it and your just bring it back...But i see no reason why they would have a problem taking back a train set.
