So, I will try to make this as short as possible. So I own a used 2001 IS300 with about 111k miles on it. After researching the lexus.com dealer records, I discovered that nothing was listed for the 90k service, no record of timing belt change either online or in the engine compartment. I did remove the VVTI cover and inspected it myself, no oil on it from leaky seals, the white Lexus logo was even still present on the belt, no shimmer or pully marks, no oil leakage that I could see really that was coming from the vvti gear.

I discovered that it had a pretty good oil leak, from what I believed was the valve cover gaskets both the left and right.

So, after much research and shopping around, I chose a small Toyota shop that also services Lexus vehicles. Lots of good reviews, A+ rating with 0 complaints from the BBB.

I tell them that I would like the timing belt changed, the valve cover gaskets changed out. They tell me it would take a day to complete the repairs.

I go to pick up the vehicle a day later, and they are still working on it.

I noticed them start the vehicle numerous times, like 3-4 times, and the next thing I know, the owner walks in and tells me he needs to get me a rental car (on him).

He said that the engine is now TICKING.

What the hell did they do?

I am planning on having all the repair work inspected at a Lexus dealership for peace of mind after they give it back to me with hopefully no TICKING, since it never did this until they touched it.

He says its a disability and he continually will ridicule me when I am responsible for reviewing and correcting his paperwork. He frequently will turn in paperwork with spelling errors and makes errors on the mathematical formulas within his work. When I highlight them and give them back, he tells me its because he has a learning disability and that I cant do that. I call complete and total BS and am ready to walk up to human resources. What do you think?

I get really twitchy and nervous when I have to go to meetings at work. I think part of it is intimidation of sorts, I feel like a low-man on the totem pole, but yet I must still administer instructions. My heart feels like its going to jump out of my chest and I cant shake it, I start screwing up when I talk because I am nervous the entire time. I need some kind of trick, like "imaging that people are in their underwear" kinda technique, cause no matter how much I keep doing it, I get just as nervous as the last time. I cant shake it

I worked at a daycare facility for 11 years up until last Friday. I attempted to prevent a child from running out of the room, and I scratched her arm. I immediately reported it when it happened, and believe me it happens all the time to all the teachers.

The child has behavioral problems that the director and other teachers are aware of.

I told them it was an accident when they confronted me the very next day, they brought the parent in too to ridicule me.

The new owner of the facility has recently been firing all of the older employees because their hourly rate is more than minimum wage. They are having a hard time keeping the place running, so I know they fired me for other reasons.

They told me that I used excessive force but I told them it was an accident, but they did not care and said it was grounds for immediate termination.

For 11 years I never have been written up and have always had positive performance reviews.

The other teachers told me that the new owner tries to fight every unemployment claim, but has lost almost all of them when they are appealed.

Do you think I will win?

My family wont stop giving me a hard time, he is 8 months old and woke up with a 103 degree fever and his eyes were sealed shut from conjunctivitis. I told them there is no way i'm coming over for easter, he is super fussy and sick.

They just think I am too overprotective, but I dont want him picking up another virus while he is dealing with this, I cant miss alot of work or we will be homeless.

I found a replacement tire that is the exact same brand, size, tread depth, but the LOAD and SPEED rating is HIGHER than the other three tires.

Can I do this? I dont want to buy 2 new tires, I cannot afford it.

Had a tire go out on me, I cant find afford a new replacement, the only used one I found is the exact same tire, except the speed and load rating is higher. Is it ok to put this on?

They told me that my insurance would pay for 100% of it because of this reason, does this sound right?

Twin boy and girl birthday party, what is a good gift that does not cost much $$$????

My regular dentist did a post and build up, now it is worse off, he says I need a root canal from a specialist. I am curious, who does the rest of the work after the specialist finishes it? I.E., molding and crown.

They showed me how they were attempting to feed him with a bottle, which he hates bottles and always has, and he started to scream and we didnt like it. He does good with a sippy cup sometimes, but he has always had this problem. He is breastfed, and it is quite common that they refuse bottles. Is it ok that we told them not to do that anymore? I figured we pay them about $700 a month to watch him, and we didnt ask them much, just dont do it if he is not cooperation or screaming. I dont want them to let us go, we already had one daycare provider do that to us before.

It started out as a cold in his nose, then it started draining out, and then turned into a cough. He doesnt do it all the time, just every now and then. It does not keep him up at night either, it just interupts his feedings sometimes. He has been seen by a doctor more than once, the last time was 2 weeks ago, and the doctor said his lungs were fine, that it was flem in his throat. His breathing seems fine, he just will all of the sudden start coughing and choking afterwards. I hate to take him back to the doctor, just for them to say he is fine again and be sent on my way.

We got this train set for my son for Christmas, he hates it. So I would like to return it, I looked up their return policy and it talks about radio control returns you cant get refunds in cash for. It's not a radio controlled item, it has a transformer that plugs into the wall. I also asked the cashier before I bought it, and she said I could. I'm just afraid that they will give me a hard time, they have a bad reputation on the internet for store returns.

He comes home and doesnt smile and isnt his usual self, and goes to sleep. He attends a in home daycare setting.

He just got over a yucky cold, and we would rather him get the shots on Friday so we can keep a good eye on him over the weekend. Rather than get them on Monday, and send him off to daycare the next day in pain.

He screams and cries hysterically, and as soon as I give him to his momma, he stops crying.

I am convinced he now does not remember me at all and hates me.

What should I do?

I got sick on Wednesday, got a good fever on Thursday (102.9), and now its Sunday Night, and my temp dropped all the way to 96.2?

I called the doctor, they said it was normal, but the abnormally low body temp is just weird to me.

Now its 99.2, but for hours it was 98.6

My wife seems to think that by lowering the AC down to 75, turning a ceiling fan on, and uncovering me, that my fever will go away. I told her she is wrong, and she is torturing me by doing all of that, I am freezing.
