Kindle DX Screen Protector?

So, my parents just got me a Kindle DX for Christmas, and I know I'm going to love it. They also got me the $50 leather case that amazon makes. My question is: Does it need a screen protector? I can't seem to find an official one from amazon, I found one at http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/amazon-kindle-... but I seriously doubt I need that much protection (scratch), I was thinking simply something to prevent fingerprints. Or is the screen already easy to clean, scratch resistant, etc

    I've the Kindle 2 and I do protect it with screen protector. The Kindle is a pricey device so I definitely suggest you to protect it well. You can consider this screen protector for the Kindle DX, it has good review:

    I personally don't use a screen protector. Haven't had any problems for nine months. I clean it with the cloth like the one I use to clean my camera lens.
