ok so if i activate a spell card can i activate a trap card as well because if i play rain of Mercy me and my opponent gain 1000 lp but if i activate a bad reaction to simochi he would lose instead of gain
2)Is there a card that flips all face down monsters face up or vice versa and activates effects
3) is there a card like shield and sword but it permanently switches attack and defense

you can play a spell and if you wish chain the trap to it so that it will activate first, of course the trp must have been set a turn first.
ok yes and no on the flipping face up, Swords of Revealing Light works for your opponent, and for you
desert sunlight flips all your monsters into face up defense.
as for flipping face down book of eclipse, but be warned come end phase all of your opponent monster flip back face up in defense and then he/she draws 1 card for each monster that flipped .
not yet but in February a card called Reversal World (well the ocg name any way) will be released into the tcg (English) its effect is
The ATK and DEF of all face-up Effect Monsters are switched.
and this effect is permanent for as long as they are face up on the field.

To answer your first question, yes you may activate another card in chain to your own card; AS LONG as your opponent says he doesn't want to activate anything himself.
okay, you would have to activate rain of mercy first. Chains resolve in reverse order, so if you were to activate bad Reaction First, it wouldn't make your opponent lose life points.
2.) Swords of Concealing Light and Swords of Revealing Light are good if you want it to be for your opponent. If you want to use a flip effect immediately or flip a monster face-down immediately, then Book of Taiyou and Book of Moon respectively. Or you could try Book of Eclipse.
3.) Weapon Change is the Closest thing, but it only works for Warriors and Machines.

1. yes you can chain bad reaction but your opponent gets a chance to chain to both of the cards....so it wud go like: you activate rain of mercy, your opponent gets a chance to chain, they say they dont have anything you chain bad reaction...
2. yes, swords of revealing light does that, and so does book of taiyu (didnt spell it rite), but it only works for one monster.
3. ojama country swaps the atk and defense of monsters on the field as long as there is a face up ojama monster
