I'm not trying to doing any hardcore gaming, but my current laptop isn't able to handle the games of today. Of course I'm a student on a budget so I don't need the 1k and up computers. Just something that can handle games on a medium video quality setting.

I'm building a simple messenger batch program and I'm trying to find a way to save the people you want to message and their ip addresses. But I'm fairly new to this and I don't know how to recall the data from the txt file and set it as a variable.

Im using windows7 but I also want the code to be compatible with windowsXP.

i damaged my disk so i downloaded the iso....ive burned the iso to a disk and installed it but it still tells me to insert disk to play...ive also tried using daemon tools to mount it but this isnt working either...bleh ive looked for patching and cracking walkthroughs to get this to play but i cant find any that are an actual walkthrough...is there anyone that can tell me what i can do...btw i own the game...just damaged my disk

Well ive been posting a couple of yugioh guides in the card game section and recently one of them has been reported. Im just getting a poll of who all believes that giving information about a valid subject on yahoo answers is wrong...my personal belief is that is if you dont want to see the information then simply dont read it...is there anyone else who agrees with me?

also this is not considered venting or spamming since i asked a valid question and did not use this to state only my personal frustrations; and i have reviewed the terms of questions and it violates none of them XD

Well apparently my last guide met my expectation...now Im asking you the people of yahoo answers on what Yugioh you would like to see...also i would love to do collaborative work with the higher people here to give the best information possible...so any requests?

I see a lot of people asking about their Yugioh decks on here. Now most of the time when someone is asking "Take a look at my Yugioh deck and how well would it do in a tournament"; I check it out and I see a random collection of 50+ cards. So this is a small guide in what makes a Yugioh deck at least tier 2.

Theme:

The theme or strategy of your deck is probably the most important part in deck building. The theme of your deck will determine its speed, consistency and ability to stand up to tier one and 2 decks. Before I go any further, I will state that "your favorite cards" is not a theme just a collection. A theme can be an attribute, and archetype or even a strategy.

Cards in Deck:

At most a competitive deck should have 41 cards in it. (This is to everyone who just has to run 50+ cards) There is a reason for this. It simply speeds up your deck; it makes you get what cards you need faster. Now most spells and traps are going to be staples (more on that later) instead of specific support (cards designed for a specific attribute, type or archetype). This is simply because you probably aren't going always to have that specific requirement for the support therefore rendering the card dead draw.

Staples

Staples are cards that you will see in almost every deck. These cards usually have the potential to give you advantage (more on that later), and can be played strategically. Some of such cards are : Heavy Storm, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole.

Advantage

This is simply having more cards in hand and on field than your opponent. To determine your net gain or loss of a card you play there is simple math to figure this out. Say you play the spell "Lightning Vortex" while your opponent has one monster on the field. You are losing the card "Lightning Vortex" because your playing it so -1 net loss, then you discard for the cost of "Lightning Vortex" so another -1 for a total of -2. Then at the resolution of "Lightning Vortex" your opponent's face up monster so add +1 to the total. So in that situation playing "Lightning Vortex" will result in a net total of -1 for you.

ok...my computer says that i have a good connection and then whenever i try to acces anything on the internet (internet explorer, firefox, even yahoo msgr) ive tried reinstalling the drivers and the hardware, ive checked my proxy settings and firewall settings...ive even reinstalled windows and reinstalled the hardware again....any thing anyone can think of would help

Ok lately I've been seeing a lot of questions about gladiator beasts lately, and well since I'm running this as my main deck lately and have pro's helping me with it (I am seriously not kidding about this), Ive decided to pass on their knowledge to all of you...

Gladiator beasts are possibly the most consistent of the meta decks out there right now. They are also the most flexible, and possibly the hardest to play with.

The main focus of gladiator beasts is probably described best as control. This control is usually achived with Gyzarus, bestiari, and murmillo. But remember, these are only 3 cards in an entire deck and you should not solely rely on them, the way I describe it is, "There is a gladiator beast for every situation".

Most Glad builds are the same...this is my current build...ill explain why i run what i run
