Go for it. I've been using System Mechanic Pro now for a while on my windows 7 64 bit system and it is really nice and works well. Most of the antivirus stuff works the same. I have it partnered with PC Tools free firewall and they are working great together. If you want totally free stuff get Microsoft Security Essential and partner it with ccleaner to keep the crap cleaned out of your system and your registry in line. Good luck!

I use it and love it. I think it's a very good program.

I will say this, It has a ton of tools and you must have some knowledge

to use all of it's resources.

Try a free trial and go from there.

Source(s): Edit: The 9,5 version is the newest and is very good with windows 7 and windows vista.
