Treadmill help, please?
So we bought my sister a treadmill for like 300 bucks for Christmas. She started crying when she saw that it can only hold 250 pounds. She told us that she weighs 240 pounds. Can the treadmill still support her weight? Or should we buy a new one... UGH. I just want her to get on the freaking treadmill. I doubt she'd break it!... Will it support her?
Obviously 240 is less than 250. I wasn't asking for a math lessos, thanks. :) I don't know why she's weird about it? Maybe she figures that 10 pounds is too close for comfort. Yes it has a one year warranty. We didn't know how much she weighed or we'd have bought the one that supports 350 lbs. Maybe with clothes on she weighs more than 240. I don't know. Anyway, THANKS. :) I'll reassure her!

Last time I heard 240 was less than 250 and I'm sure if it breaks it has some kind of warranty. Usually they test those thing to 20% above written capacity.

It should be able to support her if it says 250. Also there are warrantys so it can be replaced. you should try talking to the sales rep that you bought the treadmill from and ask if it is ok. You don't have to tell he/she about your sister, it can be a general question.

It holds 250 and she is 240, or ten pounds less. What is the problem?
