Jules for a female name?

My hubby likes Jules for a female or male name and I don't mind for a female because I would probably call the baby Julie. Has anyone heard of Jules for a female name, not very common. Can anyone think of a nice middle name for a female Jules. I was th inking Jules Eve

I know a few women called Julie, and most go by Jules as their nickname; I don't know anyone who has it as a full name.

    Jules Evelyn

    Jules Olivia

    Jules Rebekah

    Jules Ruby

    Jules Gabriella

    Jules Isabella

    Jules Louisa

    Jules Skyler

    Jules Hannah

    Jules Alexandria

I think Jules is a nickname for Julia, Juliet(te), or Juliei. I don't really care for it as a first name. Julia Eve sounds better than Jules Eve. If you are dead set on Jules some middle names are:

    Jules Marie

    Jules Faith

    Jules Hope

    Jules Ann(e)

    Good Luck!

It's cool, but I don't really like it as a female name unless it's a nickname for Julie, Julia, or Juliet. Otherwise it seems a bit off. Especially with Julie as a nickname.

If your husband is set on Jules and just Jules, Eve is a good middle name. Or Katherine, or Alexandra.

My name is Julie Elizabeth.. But i'm sometimes called Jules.

I like Jules better as a nickname.. Maybe Julie, Julia, Juliana, Julianne, or Juliet instead..

I know a couple of females who are known as Jules. One's called Julia and the other is called Judith.

    I wouldn't use it as a full name - it's a nickname.

I havn't heard of a female Jules, and I prefer it as a nickname on both genders,

you could name her Juliet(te), Julian(n)a, Julie or Julia (boy: Julian or Julius)

and your hubby could nickname her Jules.

  • no but maybe Julia, Juliet or Julianna and have the nickname be jules
