How should I wear my hair for a wedding?

I'm the maid of honor in a wedding and am having issues deciding how to wear my hair. I've asked the bride and she doesn't have a preference. My hair is medium/long, dark brown, naturally straight and very fine. I'd prefer to wear it down.

If I was in your situation I would go with something up but that wasn't too elaborate.  You definitely should look formal but not overdone as you're the maid of honor (obviously you know this.)  From what you've described, I would go for a low, swept-up bun. Good luck, and remember, google image search is your friend

You might want to discuss hairstyles with the other ladies in the wedding party. The group of you may want to consider going to a hair stylist together and decide as a group on the style in which to wear your hair.

wear it half down half up and curl the bottom half and put some really pretty barettes or clips in it
