fruit and veggies for waterdragon?
what different fruits and veggies can i feed my water dragons? i have tried strawberries, blueberries, collards, bananas, sweet tatoes, squash..i would like to keep tryin different things, and see what they favor. yes, they get plenty of crickets, meal worms, superworms (my male only) wax worms, and silk worms, with calc powder. and i have a vit spray..i only want to know what different fruits and veggies they can have that i can use as a staple food. (my male likes banana's, but i do not feed him those often because of the binding with calc and makin the calc useless)
thanks!!!!!

Hiya matee!!
Here is a basic list of foods (fruit/veg/plant matter) you can feed to the majority of Omnivorous or Herbivorous reptiles. In this case Water Dragons (Omnivorous reptiles).
Staple Foods;
>Watercress
>Dandelion Leaves
>Turnip Greens
>Mustard Greens
>Alfalfa
>Chicory Greens
>Collard Greens
>Endive
>Green Beans (finely chopped)
>Parsnips (grated or peeled)
>Snap Peas
>Courgette
>Rocket
Occasional Foods;
>Carrots
>Cucumber
>Swiss Chard
>Bell Peppers
>Parsley
>Pumpkin
>Melon
>Apples
>Pears
>Peaches
>Strawberries
>Mango
>Grapes
>Raspberries
>Blackberries
As you may know all fruit should be given in moderation and should only make up no more than 10% of your pets diet!
All my reps have a varied diet including the majority of these food items. Hope this helps you out mate.
