At home highlighting?
My natural color is a very dark brown, although i've been blonde for the past 10 years. Recently I decided to try to go natural and had it dyed a deep shade of brown, and I completely hate it. I want to get blonde highlights to lighten up my hair, but really can't afford to go back to the salon. Does anyone know of any at home highlighting kits that work well for darker hair?

Your kind of playing russian roulette because not only do you have naturally dark hair you have prelightened it and put color on it to make it dark now your gonna try to put lightner on it to get it back to blonde, you most likely will turn spotty orange with blonde roots because the blonde will work on your roots but color doesnt usually lift out color. your best bet if u arent going to go to a salon is to try to hilight it so your not frying your hair and if it looks bad you dont have to recolor your hole head again because it will be over processed.

I know that maybe you can buy a lighter color highlighting color thing, and buy a cap that is made for highlighting only certain amounts of hair. You put the cap on your head and pull out the hair that you want to get lighter. After you pull them out, get the color you want your hair and put it on the hairs you put through the cap
