Does a full AVG scan scan for spyware too?

I have the paid version of AVG 9.0 and I've been attacked by Personal Security, I thought I got rid of it last night, but some websites still have the fake blocked page, I've gotten rid of the actual Personal Security on the computer, this is the only thing that is still on there.

If possible, could you also tell me how to remove this blocked page garbage properly?

I've used Spyware Doctor and it says I have cybersecurity when I run a scan with it, but it wont remove it because it is the free version..

Thanks!

Update:

I have already done a complete scan with malware (All C:, D:, and E: disk drives) and it only removed the actual personal security from my computer, yet the blocked message stays.

In order to remove the BHO (browser helper object) titled "Helper" which is what Personal Security installs to present these fake messages, you will need to install spybot search and destroy.

Disabling the BHO does not work as it is automatically re-enabled.

Go to http://spybot.com/ either on that computer, or if you're having problems, use another computer and copy the install file to a flash drive.

    download spybot search and destroy

Install it on the infected PC, and open it. Go to mode > advanced. Click ok to confirm

Click on Tools on the bottom left, and in the right-pane select the box "BHO's"

GO to the BHO's item under tools on the left-side menu, and then delete helper from the list on the right.

try running malwarebytes update it first then run a full scan delete what it finds then restart
