Majors that don't involve much math?

I'm a junior in high school and lately I've really been contemplating different career fields that I want to get into. I want to have a career where I feel like I'm giving back to the world in some way, but I'm not that good in math classes and most high paying careers involve a lot of math. I'm not talking hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, but something that pays well, and where I know I can help people in some way.

I suggest that you take an aptitude test. An aptitude test assesses your skills and your interests and matches you to the careers that are right for you. A high school or college adviser can recommend a good one.

I hope this helps you decide.

There are two questions you are asking. One is a job that can get back to the society, the other is a well pay job. These are two different career goals and choices, may or may not go together. What's your strengths? Sometimes if you can get some part-time jobs that will not affect your school works, you may find out what you really like to do quicker. Because you may find out that your math skill is just fine. Business managers/management consultants are well-paid(NOT high pay) in some industries, need basic math skills, logical thinking, great communication and writing skills. Depend on the industry, you can give back to the society in your daily routine. such as recycling, solar power, senior living, hospital, government. Talk to people at your selected industry or sometimes through a referral, tell them who you are and whether they have few minutes to give you advice and tips to get the foot in that industry. Oh, salary.com will give you a basic idea of how each profession get paid, just go through the basic pages and don't pay them to give you any further analysis.
