Search Thomas Trott in USA Maine. I find Thomas and Louise marriage record for 1936 meaning Thomas should be in parents household in 1930 census for Maine, as should Louise Alexander. There is a Thomas B. Trott that died in 1964 listed in Maine Death Index, now you have the Certificate number to order a copy for parents names.

Looks like Louise Alexander was born in Maine, parents in Italy. oldest son also born Italy. (1930 ME Cumberland, Portland Township). Need to order her death certificate to to verify census parents names.

1920 ME Cumberland Co Portland Twsp is a Thomas B Trott b. 1894 ME with mother Born in Canada and brother named Waldo S. b. ME in household and W.S. wife. All listed as "white".

I would suggest you ignore "native american" and "Italy" until you have a birth, death, marriage or any other papers that confirm this when looking up information on the internet.

I find a WWI Draft Registration card for a Thomas Brackett Trott b. 1891 living on Peaks Island ME lists he is "native born" meaning he was born in USA (Portland Cumberland Co ME) not an immigrant. Does not mean he is Native American.

Waldo Stevens Trott also has a Card, b. 1895, wife same as 1920 census for Waldo S. in Thomas B. Trotts household.

Most Ancestry databases is pre 1930 records. 1940 census not due till 2012 so won't find children (descendants) of Thomas ans Louise until then, as they married 1936.

Ancestors will be found though, if the 1894/91 Thomas is yours as he would be in 1900, 1910 census.

You are not going to be sure who is who until you have birth, marriage death dates to match with other records online. Best source is Cumberland County ME County Records Office for copies of certificates.

Under "Stories and Publications" is the history of Peaks Island. Looks like the surnames, Brackett and Stevens all run in your line as middle names. Must all be related. Have fun!
