OOO definitely my favorite, markus zusak's The Book Thief and I Am the Messenger (american title, originally in australia it;s just The Messenger). his style is really unique. for young adults, but entertaining to matter how old you are ! also, there's Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, an autobiography as a comic book type thingy, it's wonderful... or for something a little creepy, try the woman in white (forgot the author). reading should be an olympic sport ;) enjoy !!!
