Personally, I would wait a bit more. Painful contractions don't always signal labor or even the point in the labor that you are in (last baby I thought I was for sure in transition. I was only 5 cm but baby was positioned funky.) They could simply mean that baby is positions on the cervix funny. You also need to pinpoint the contractions. If you feel a strong pulling between the legs that moves up, then it's likely to be true labor contractions. Just as if the cervix is being pulled apart. You also have to consider when you are due. If you have time, then you need to wait an see. If you're past due, then your probably in the beginning stages. The timing is too irregular though. Trust me, you will have them literally every so minutes, but equal minutes with they are true labor contractions. The rule is longer, stronger, and closer together. The longer you labor at home the better for you and baby anyway. Give it another hour or so and then decide. There is nothing more frustrating than going in and then being sent home. :( I pray you will have baby soon though. (I will also say that will all the activity, it's possible you have just irritated the cervix. Be patient!!! You will definitely know.)

Congrats! I'd be getting ready to go right away, better safe in the hospital than something bad happens to your baby. Good luck!

keep walking if you can to encourage the contractions to get regular. my doctor told me to come in when: my water breaks or when my contractions are regular at 5 mins apart. I bet this will happen soon for you!!!
