My (almost) 4 month old son only seems to want water.

we give him water for hiccoughs, and an occasional drink and such and lately thats all he wants.

he will scream and cry and refuse his formula, and as soon as you give him the water he is calm.

He really drinks more water than formula lately, and when i tried to just NOT give him any water, he cries and cries and will not eat.

he is still gaining weight and is average size according to the growth charts, I was just wondering if this much water is bad for him and why is he wanting just plain water?

My sons name is Aiden and im having troulble finding a cute little nickname to call him.

my nephews name is Braxton and they call him Brax or Braxton Bear, So cute!

I have a one month old, At how many months can i start giving him soft food?

NOT SOLIDS, just soft food. Like Anything other than formula.

Ok so i tried breastfeeding...And did for about a week before we switched to formula. (had problems)

Anyways. My breasts dried up and one was still kinda leaky for a while...But then it dried up and Hasnt leaked in a while.

But now, After a very touchy feely morning with my husband, One breast (the stimulated one) Has now become Swollen and Sore and even Red. It feels like it did while they were full and engorged.

No milk has leaked yet...

But Im wondering if maybe They started producing milk again (i didnt know that was possible after they dried up) Or is this some kind of infection that i need to be checked out for.

Please Any help!

Did they restart producing milk? Is that possible?!! And how long should I wait before they can be fondled without swelling?

Sorry so many questions but i have one Swollen D boob and one squishy B boob! Im sure you could imagine!

It's been 3 weeks tomorrow since I had my son And Im still bleeding.

I dont really bleed on the pads, But when I pee or wipe there is still a good amount of blood.

I know its gross, But Im just wondering if Its normal to be bleeding this long or about how long I should bleed?

I only breastfed for a week if that matters.

Okay, So my son is 6 days old And We started off Breastfeeding. (i believe Breast is Best) But I have Flat Nipples and He couldnt Latch on Properly.

Well My boobs became Engorged and Hurt So bad That i couldnt hardly stand the pain. I was Crying because they hurt So bad and My husband Brought home a Can a formula and Assured me, It was Okay. We had atleast tried.

Well Since we've Used the Formula He has Been Sleeping SOOO MUCH. I was used to him Waking up and Crying for a boob, But now he just wakes Up, Eats, Looks around for a few Minutes, if that, And then He's back asleep.

He is So sleepy that you can pick him and lay him down without him barely noticing. He basically Sleeps while he's eating and sometimes Falls asleep halfway through the bottle.

I need to Know if He is sleeping to much! Could something be wrong? His nose is kinda Stuffy, But he has no fever, is he maybe sick?

(I am still Breast feeding a little too. Only when my soreness lets up a bit. And ive even tried pumping a little, though not much comes out)

Okay, So, I had sex and Walked around for about an hour (i was trying to bring on labor)

Anyways, The contractions did get started, And They progressed.

We timed them from 9 pm to 11 pm.

At first they were strong and irregular, between 3 minutes apart and 10 minutes apart.

Then They FINALLY got to 5 mins apart, So we waited and I had a few that were exactly 5 minutes apart...

My husband Loaded the Car with the carseat and Hospital bag And we waited a few more minutes (cause my sister-in-law was here swearing we didnt NEED to go to the hospital) And Then They started trailing off.

Getting farther apart and becoming less painful (after 3 hours!) Until they just Stopped!!! I was so Mad!

Anyways, If they were 5 minutes apart, Shouldnt my water have broke and I have progressed more?

I thought The contractions at 5 mins apart meant Active Labor...Can You just stop in the middle of Active Labor?!!

Okay, So I had sex and went shopping (walking around). Yes i was trying.

Anyways, Now Im having pretty painful contractions and from the time I started Timing them, Heres what we have...

Minutes apart in order.

5 , 11, 3, 5 , 2 , 3 , 5, 2 , 3, 6

They are irregular but Really Painful.

Anyways, When Should I go to the hospital?

Okay So Ive heard of TONS of ways to start labor on your own, And one of them is to eat Fresh Pineapple.

Supposedly it has some enzyme in it or something that helps. idk...Its worth a try and itll be a healthy change (I HATE pineapple)

I just wanted to know if You or Anyone has had this Actually work for them.

I've walked SOOOO much in the past few weeks and Even Yesterday I walked around (shopping) for The whole day and was so sore I couldnt hardly move!

Sex worked when i was 35 weeks, ( i went to the hospital with horrible Contractions and dilated to a 2) Anyways they sent me home and when I tried Sex again about 2 weeks Later......

It didnt Work that time!!!

And my best friend Used Castor Oil but had the Runs everywhere, So Thats not even an Option Im considering.

Anyways, Again, Did Pineapple work for you or Anyone you know? Or is there Something Else I can try besides Everything i listed?

Okay, SO i just Bought the Samsung Delve. (Love it)

Anyways, I put all my contacts in it, And sent everyone a text of my new number.

When they all Text me back, It only showed the Number.

Such as " Okay from 555-555-555" instead of "Okay from Amber"

I keep trying to find out how to change it to show the contact name instead of the number But can't seem to find it.

I've been through every setting of the Message settings and Still nothing!!! I cant find it even in the Manuel!

Okay, SO im 36 weeks pregnant, almost 37...Anyways I noticed a little while ago when i was looking in the mirror that my Clitoris was swollen.

Well The Pee tube thing...Its not normal size for some reason. Its Huge compared to what it normally is. It doesnt hurt or anything...Its just weirdly Swollen...

Is there Any reason For this? Does it have something to do with Labor because My stomach has been contracting on and off for the past couple hours today.

Im sorry I know this is way to much info, But Its just so strange...Ive never heard of it happening to anyone!

Ok, So i have a Small (6 lb) Chihuahua Min Pin cross named Charlie.

And For some reason Yesterday he started Peeing on the Furniture!

It started with the couch. I was sitting down, And i noticed he had got up from his nap and Jumped off the couch, Then I smelled Pee...And when I turned my head to Look, He was Hiding under the Table (He knows Not to pee there). So he Peed a Huge Soaking Spot on the Couch! (which wasnt leather!)

And then Last Night He peed the Bed! I woke Up to a wet feeling on my lower Back, And Im 9 months pregnant so I Immediately woke up Thinking "oh my water broke!" But then I could smell The Pee, And when I turned the Light on, There was a Huge pee spot right beside where my back was sleeping! And Little Charlie was hiding under the Bed!

I just dont understand why he is doing this! He knows Its bad or else he wouldnt go and hide before we even notice. I almost think He might be peeing in his sleep. Could he have a Urinary Infection making him uncontrollably pee?!!! Please Any Advice is Appreciated.

He is In his crate because we dont know what else to do! He has also been Hiking his Leg alot lately, Something he didnt do about 2 months ago.

I had sex, And it did send me into Labor. I dilated to a 2 at the hospital. But they ended up sending me home because My water didnt break and My contractions were starting to slow down.

They told me I had Prodomal Labor or False Labor (Basically Real Labor without the water breaking).

Anyways, Its been a Week and was Just wondering If its Even Possible to break my own water. If it is, Is it safe And what ways can I do it?

I dont want to Shove anything up there to break it, Thats just crazy! I want to know if there a way That I can Help to make it break...Like Exercise or something. Nothing dangerous!

Ok, So When I woke up this morning ( on my way to My doctors appointment) I walked to the Bathroom and Stood infront of the toilet...

Well, I dropped My pants and Before I could sit down, This Water Started to Come out (kinda Like I was Full out Peeing myself ) And I was Trying to Make it stop But It wouldnt stop, And It seemed Clear unlike my bright Yellow morning pee.

Anyways, It did that for a second, And i was Yelling at my Husband, "I cant make my pee stop!! "

Anyways, It Slowed down a Bit So I sat on The toilet (yes that all happened while i was standing infront of the toilet) and Peed. And It did seem different than the random Flow i just felt. It felt like that time I was actually peeing and Could make it stop if i wanted to.

Anyways, It stopped after that. So I went on to finish getting dressed for my appointment.

I told my doctor that I thought my water might have broke but then again I might have just peed myself. Well They didnt check to see if it broke, They just said It was probably pee cause That happens A lot. (but its never happened like that!) And At my last visit I was Dilated to a 2 But this time My doctor couldnt tell because He couldnt "Reach" my cervix. (a lady at L&D did it last time)

Anyways, What do you Think? Does It just Stop after it gushes out?

(Oh and I didnt have contractions while it was happening and Im 36 weeks)

Is it possible for your water to break and not notice it?

Just wondering.Im 36 weeksand I sent myself into labor a few days ago and Dilated from a 1 to a 2, Then they sent me home because i wasnt progressing, (and apparently the urine test said my water hadnt broke)

But a few hours later that night (cause i couldnt sleep) My Mucus Plug started to come out. And Now All that really comes out is a small bit of Thick White Discharge, SO im guessing the plug is gone or The discharge is the remains of it...

Anyways, Im just wondering if maybe My water might have Broke while all this was going on, and maybe i just didnt notice. I mean is that possible? My appointment isnt for another 2 days, So i was just checking.

Will it definitely be noticeable when it does break? Any explanations on the feeling would be great too! This is my first pregnancy and the Baby books dont explain it very well!!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant (36 on Wednesday) And For the past 3 or 4 days, I have been waking up, And when I Stand up I get the Pin needle feeling in my feet.

They are kinda Tingly, stinging, Like my circulation had been cut off for a while.

And Each day, It seems to become a Stronger sensation. Today, It was in Both of my feet and Actually was kinda painful for about a minute.

I dont sleep on my back, And earlier it happened when i was just Sitting down and Stood back up.

I'm just wondering why its starting to do this. Is it possible that My belly weight is cutting my circulation off? Or is it something more serious?

( Its not from being on my back! i sleep on my side!)

Ok So Im 35 weeks and The night before last, My hubby and I decided to have intercourse.

It ended up sending me into Labor!! Within an Hour after our "fun time" I was having contractions SO painful That I would have to stop and Hold onto something!

At the Hospital They kept me for 3 hours and I had dilated to a 2. My Contractions Eventually calmed downed ( still really painful ) And Because I wasnt dilating anymore they sent me home and told me to take a pain pill.

Well At home, I was still having smaller, milder contractions, That made me barely able to sleep, And Still a few smaller ones through out the next day along with Starting the Loss of my Mucus Plug and what looked like maybe a bit of pink watery blood.

And Today, 2 days later, They have STOPPED!! Believe me, Im SO happy for the Break, But Why did they just stop? Is this normal for labor to just "Stop"? I have been Relaxing lately (not doing much of anything) Could that be why?

ok, So im 35 weeks. Last night I went to the hospital after having Horrible Contractions from my romantic time with my husband.

Anyways, I was Dilated to a 1 ,almost a 2.

Well they Released me, And I have still been cramping up through out the day.

But Now When I wipe, There is this light, Brown tinted water. I though maybe it was in my pee, but I wiped without peeing and Its still there. And when i walking to my kitchen, I felt a few drips get on my leg and underwear that were also light brown.

Its not heavy, but it has been getting more noticeable through out the day.

Im just wondering if i need to call my doctor or go back to the hospital or if Im going be bent over in labor sometime soon.

Im 35 weeks.

Okay, So last night My husband and I decided to have a nice romantic night, That ended with the usual...(sex)

Anyways, About 15 minutes later I was getting a cramp in the bottom of my belly, like the pelvis area, THEN all of a sudden I was hit with these Contractions (which i had never felt before) That Stopped me Dead in My tracks! I could barely walk and they wouldnt let up!!

Anyways, We ended up going to the hospital at midnight and The hooked me up to a monitor And Told me I was Contracting And It was most likely because of the sex (i thought was a myth) And That I was Dilated to a 1. An hour later I was a 2. Then The contractions got a bit easier and they said i wasnt dilating anymore, SO they sent me home with permission to pop some pain relievers.

Anyways...........What Im worried about is that They didnt get better when i got home. I could barely sleep! I was waking up every few minutes to clench my teeth and change positions.

Im Still SO SORE, and I keep getting The same ( i guess mild contractions) all day long, No matter if Im laying down or standing up.

And I also saw light pink when i wiped this morning, but not really anymore since then.

So what do you think? Does it sound like Labor is coming soon since the contractions wont stop? Or Should I just wait again to see if they get bad again?

Any Info or just your thoughts about it is appreciated! This is my first pregnancy!

Im 34 weeks pregnant Now, But I remember some of the first things I was Told when i went in...Dont eat cold lunch meat, No aspirin, Dont change cat litter boxes...And NO HOT SHOWERS.

I was just wondering the other day, while i was taking my warm shower, wishing it was steamy hott...."Why cant it be hott?".

Anyways I asked my Friend who was recently pregnant and she didnt know...But her mother said The Heat from it Will Make the baby Mentally Retarded!!!!

I just want to know...Is she right? If not, Then WHAT DOES IT DO?

(dont worry, I dont plan on taking a hott shower, I waited this long, I can wait 6 more weeks! lol)
