Dog peeing on Furniture recently?
Ok, So i have a Small (6 lb) Chihuahua Min Pin cross named Charlie.
And For some reason Yesterday he started Peeing on the Furniture!
It started with the couch. I was sitting down, And i noticed he had got up from his nap and Jumped off the couch, Then I smelled Pee...And when I turned my head to Look, He was Hiding under the Table (He knows Not to pee there). So he Peed a Huge Soaking Spot on the Couch! (which wasnt leather!)
And then Last Night He peed the Bed! I woke Up to a wet feeling on my lower Back, And Im 9 months pregnant so I Immediately woke up Thinking "oh my water broke!" But then I could smell The Pee, And when I turned the Light on, There was a Huge pee spot right beside where my back was sleeping! And Little Charlie was hiding under the Bed!
I just dont understand why he is doing this! He knows Its bad or else he wouldnt go and hide before we even notice. I almost think He might be peeing in his sleep. Could he have a Urinary Infection making him uncontrollably pee?!!! Please Any Advice is Appreciated.
He is In his crate because we dont know what else to do! He has also been Hiking his Leg alot lately, Something he didnt do about 2 months ago.
(he is 1 1/2 years old.)

He needs to go to the vet to rule out a UTI or some other medical problem. If he's peeing while he's asleep, there could be a problem that's not a UTI but that can cause incontinence.
If he's not neutered, you may want to consider it.
If it's not a UTI or other problem, then basic potty training skills have to be started over. Leashing him to you and taking him out every 30 minutes.

First off, what within the heck is up with the 2 first solutions? Obviously, you understand to disregard them. It's a brand new factor that entered his territory. It's a brand new factor that he will wish to mark and say, "This is mine, now not one more puppy's," and peeing is the best way puppies mark. Really the pleasant factor you'll do in your puppy is be certain he is "empty" and now not capable to mark by way of taking him out to make use of the toilet as a rule. That means, he may not be "loaded" with something to mark with. Getting him to pee external is your target right here, and if he empties himself out external, you will not need to fear approximately him doing that within. ADD: And please, do something you'll to be certain that you do not spank your puppy as a number of the folks listed here are suggesting. That's now not going to achieve something however making your puppy worry you. Abuse is NEVER the reply, however I'm certain you knew that already.
