what happens if my dog bitt me ?
i got a small bitt from my boxer today and he had toke his shots few weeks ago what should i do do i still need to go see a doctor or as long as the dog has his shots its ok

Wow... your dog does not have rabies. Has your dog been bitten by a rabid animal? Didn't think so. Keep the wound clean. Clean initially with peroxide, apply triple anti-biotic ointment and bandage. There ya go.

your dog bit you and you know it has it's shots. I would say your fine as long as you get rid of the infection that will be there. and as long as you know your pup doesn't have rabies your fine. Don't worry owners of puppies get bit all the time. just treat it as a cut and go on. if it is deep then you might want to but since it is a puppy no.

For the sake of safety,both of you should be examined especially if the dog made a cut in the skin.
