Here is my favorite:
Grilled Cheese
2 slices of thick white bread (or you can use regular - thick is better)
Velveeta (the real Velveeta cheese, not the store brand Velveeta cheese - really makes a difference)
Butter / Margarine
Frying pan - Cast iron is great or you can use regular.
Butter each side of the bread. Add the Velveeta to it. Close the bread up.
Make sure the frying pan is wet with butter & bubbly (so that it is hot).
Place the sandwich in the boiling butter.
Fry each side until the bread is the consistency / color that you like (re: whitish, beige, brown or black). I like mine dark brown - some people prefer almost black. Depending on the color you pick (for your bread to cook to) it will taste different (crispy, etc.)
On the Side:
Tomato Soup (add milk, shredded cheese, & basil at the end - see can instructions if you are not sure).
Sweet Pickles
Crackers
Cheese (for the crackers - if you are a real cheese-aholic) !

Love sandwiches. I like them cold, too. Cold sliced Meatloaf sand, Cold hamburger, plus cold-cut sandwiches of all kinds. I do like hot dogs and burgers hot, as well, but I like the cold stuff as mentioned, plus cold hoagies and cold subs.
