Are half white and half mexicans, still count as a full mexicans? -since many meszitos call themselves mexican?

My cousin claimed she doesnt hang with mexicans, but her friends where mostly half mexicans and half white

I told her thats the same as a mexican, because most mexicans were meszitos or have white blood in them. I can tell in my school by the looks of it, the majority of them are mezitos, but none of them admit they have white blood, most of them claim they are full mexicans.

She keeps on deying them as mexicans, just they say they are half


So half mexican and half white, are they meszitos?
-Would you count them as Mexicans or half racial?

Mexican is NOT a Race it is a Nationality like American!
Nationalities are regardless of Race!
It is composed of people from different racial background
e.g. Mongoloid, Caucasoid, Negr0id, or Australoid. Yes, the
majority of Mexicans are Caucasian mixed with Mongoloid ("Asian"
yes the Aztecs, Mayans, Amerindians, "Indians" are Asian) but there
are many Mexicans that are just Caucasian, and even ones that are 
just Mongoloid. The people you are talking about probably are not
Mexican, they are American. They are not Mexican because Mexican
isn't their Nationality, American is. Whether you are half white and
half Mongoloid (Aztec, Mayan, etc.) your nationality depends on what
your country of origin is (where you were born or where you have
your citizenship)
There is NO such thing as being half Mexican (There might be
an exception if you have dual citizenship, depends on who you
are talking to...)

if i go around saying "native american, and white" most people would be like "why not just say mexicans"
Because Mexican is a Nationality REGARDLESS of race. Not all Mexicans have Aztec, Mayan, or any other "Native American" DNA in them some are pure Caucasian, Black, or Asian.

Who cares what the "Mexicans" in your school call themselves. Maybe some of those "Mexicans" really are Mexicans, and maybe some of them are really American but they do not know that Mexican isn't a race.
The majority of the people here in the US do not know the DIFFERENCES between
Nationalities, Races, and Ethnicities.

Mexican is a NATIONALITY, like American or Bolivian or Iranian.  There is no such thing as "half Mexican."  Either you have a Mexican citizenship or you don't.

Typically, a mestizo is a person of indigenous (mainly of Latin America; Aztec, Mayan, Taino, Olmec, etc.) and Spanish descent. If your cousins friends are half white, as in Caucasian and half Mexican, then they're exactly that. They do not count as full Mexican in my opinion.

think of it this way, Mexicans are not a race, they are a culture, Mexicans are Spaniards (white) and Aztec (Indian) so all Mexicans have white in them.  

Mexicans were maid from the Spaniards trying to breed out the Indians,  and they got away.
