Will a 31X10.5X15 fit on a stock Jeep 15" wheel?

Cherokee wheels more specifically

Update:

Jeep is lifted. This is purely a tire to wheel question. :) Thanks.

yes, but it will be a tight fit unless that cherokee is lifted.

Stock Cherokee wheels should be 15"x7"

Maximum recommended width for tires is 4" wider than the rim width, so a 10.5 will be fine.

If your stock Jeep 15" wheel is 7 inches wide yes it will fit, however the tire will be pulled in towards the wheel. Many people like this for off road because it allows the much wider tire to protect the wheel from rocks, trees, etc... on the trail. Personally I would go with a 8" wheel. I have 32x11.5x15 mounted on 10x15" wheels on my XJ. This allows the tire to be as wide as it is and I think improves traction. I have always planned on going to a 33"x12.50x15 tire from the begining of the build, but I didn't have the necessary modifications in place for them to fit at the begining.

They'll fit but rub more than you like up front. Depending on how bad your rear springs are sagged you may have issues there as well.

30 x 9,5's will fit ok and only minor rubbing up front.

Lifts are cheap and relatively easy - determine how high ya wanna go first... then get tires & wheels.
