why do people only buy one item of jewelry at a time?

Well usually it's 'cause it's so expensive haha

What people? Every person in the whole world? How do you know the shopping habits of the entire planet?

I always buy more than one item at a time if I see more than one thing that I like.

If the people you know don't, then maybe they are short of cash or are just looking for a particular piece to go with a particular outfit.

I buy at random if I see something I like, and of course no one that I know of can go and get a couple of jewelry items that cost 500 to 1000.00 at one time.

I wasn't aware people do that. Usually though because jewelry is so dam expensive if it's good stuff you can only afford one piece at a time

Because sometimes jewelery is too expensive or it is precious to that buyer and they don't want to loose it therefor buying one item there's less to keep an eye on.

I can't agree,when i went shoppping,i want to buy a lot of things,if l like and have enough money ,i will buy a lot!
