Who here thinks that health care is completely illegal?
I looked in the constitution. There is no such phrase in there saying that the government was allowed to own an run a Corporation or Business, and now their trying to sell health care. Health care is a privilege, not a right. Not to mention what's going to happen to my 92 year old grandmother when they deny her health care, i'll go crazy before they give me health care before her, that'sjust lack of respect for you elders, and that's in the bible. It's all so wrong, such a twisted socialist view that is clearly supported by people who have not known the bible in their lifetime. Thereforeif you support health care, and are a claimed christian, you will have some questions to answer for from the big man himself.

Did you notice the necessary and proper and general welfare clauses?
So, you are saying we must abolish medicare and medicaid? You WANT to deny your 92 year old grandmother medicare? You are misinformed and very confused.

Health care for all citizens is in the best interest of the country. We do not want people suffering or dying from treatable conditions because of insurance companies. Every other developed country on Earth has government managed or subsidized health care and their citizens live longer than ours do. Canada, Britain, France, and Australia all have government health programs. Their citizens average life expectancies are longer than ours.
BTW . . . According to your reasoning, your grandmother does not have a right to health care, so she won't get any if her insurance doesn't pay for it. You did say that, "health care is a privilege, not a right". I'm sure you want her to receive health care, so why do you oppose health coverage for all citizens?

What a load of hooey.
If you want to live by the Bible, then anyone who works on Sunday should be put to death.
Any woman who wears cloth of 2 different kinds should be put to death.
Anyone who touches a pig skin is unclean..ie football players. Also have you ever eaten pork rinds?
People who spout the Bible to make a point are usually part time Christians who only want to pick and choose bits from the Bible to make their case. Yet ignore the rest of it.
Our constitution is an outdated piece of paper. It needs to be rewritten so it is up with the modern world.
I am not worried about "answering to the big man himself", because I know I believe in helping others, regardless of color or religion (or most importantly..immigration status!!!). I know I am not beyond have a medical disaster befall myself or my family. NO ONE is immune to serious illness. People who have never experienced one are the first ones who criticize any kind of health care reform.

You are an idiot.... nothing about social helathcare is incompatible with Christianity. quite the reverse.
Your health care is a privilege argument is also as flawed as it is cliched. Is protection from crime, enemy invasion, fire, flood a privilege or a right ..... it's the government that provides all those things.
As for the constitution.... under your argument NASA is illegal.... all Americans were forced to pay to put a man on the moon.... does it say anything about that in the constitution ???
The healtcare proposals might be a pile of rubbish, but criticise them on their flaws not stupid ill informed non-arguments.
