  • Have a problem with my Kawasaki quad?

Ok. so here it goes. I got a 91 Kawasaki Mojave 250 last week. The guy I bought it from said it needed a clutch. took apart the clutch and everything was well within the wear specs. So I put it back together and started it up and drove it. Now I see why he thought the clutch was slipping, it is fine at low rpm's but once I try to rev it above about 1\3 to 1\2 throttle it bogs out and misses and just doesn't want to go. It does this in gear and in neutral. I check the timing and it's dead on, I checked the carb for and intake boot for cracks and there were none. The air filter is almost brand new. What else could cause this. Also the machine is 100% stock.

  • Japanese Cut-leaf Maple?

I know nothing about plants. But I really like my friends Japanese Cut-leaf Maple. I was wondering if I could cut off a branch from the tree, then plant it in soil if it would grow. If it's possible, then how to I exactly go about doing this.

  • Question(s) about a Willow Tree?

Okay, I am no plant expert, but I love willow trees. I found a willow tree that I liked, and broke a branch off of it. It was a tiny branch, probably 1/4 inch in diameter at the biggest point, and about 14 to 18 inches long. So I planted it about 5 inches deep in some good quality soil and made it very wet. Now it is winter here and everything is frozen so I then moved the pot and plant inside to thaw and hopefully encourage growth. My question is whether or not I chose a big enough branch for it to live? And what kind of willow tree it is. It didn't have any leaves seeing as it is winter and it had an orange/yellowish branch and trunk color?

  • How to solder this correctly?

I have a 79 Honda Cb175, it's in really good condition. Recently I just found that not one, but both exhaust pipes have leaks in them. The leaks are on the bottom side along the seam of the exhausts. They are almost like cracks running along this seam. The crack that's causing the leak is not that wide. I was wondering if I can solder the pipes so they don't leak anymore. I don't want to get new pipes because these two pipes are nearly perfect, the only flaws are the leak in each pipe. They are either chrome or stainless steel and I was wondering what type of soldering I could use to patch them up correctly. I am not worried about looks too much because the soldering will be on the bottom of the exhaust. Thanks!

  • Dirt bike will not start?

I have a 1980 Yamaha IT425. It ran when it was parked a few years ago, I got it out, cleaned out the carburetor and air box, checked the spark, cleaned the tank and let it dry, then put fresh fuel in it, cleaned the fuel filter and fuel on/off switch, I tried to start it and it won't go. It will run, I put fuel in through the spark plug hole and it started first kick then died when it ran out of fuel. I can kick it all I want, and the spark plug keeps fouling up even though it's not running so I know it's getting fuel into the head. And it has great compression, my leg knows that, I really have no idea about what could be wrong with it, i've been working on this stuff since I was a kid, and this one has me very frustrated.

  • Help with exhaust customization?

I'm building a custom go cart using a Honda 175cc, 5 speed manual transmission engine (it's gonna be fast, I hope). Now the stock exhaust off of the bike is about 3 to 4 feet long because it is off of a motorcycle. I don't need the exhaust that long and I am wondering weather or not I could heat up the pipe and bend it in a curve to make it shorter or if I could cut out a piece of the pipe and weld the remaining exhaust tip and exhaust header together.

  • Who thinks the Health care bill should be put up for a final vote by the people instead of Congress?

I think that the bill should be voted on directly by the people, my reasoning is that it's a big bill that will affect everyone so everyone should have the opportunity to vote yes or no for it.

  • Who here thinks that health care is completely illegal?

I looked in the constitution. There is no such phrase in there saying that the government was allowed to own an run a Corporation or Business, and now their trying to sell health care. Health care is a privilege, not a right. Not to mention what's going to happen to my 92 year old grandmother when they deny her health care, i'll go crazy before they give me health care before her, that'sjust lack of respect for you elders, and that's in the bible. It's all so wrong, such a twisted socialist view that is clearly supported by people who have not known the bible in their lifetime. Thereforeif you support health care, and are a claimed christian, you will have some questions to answer for from the big man himself.
