    WOW.

    Power...

    Strong Tower.

    Love..

I mean the personality behind that name. CREATED the power of a tsunami, underwater volcano, waterfall, sneaker wave, f5 hurricane, water cycle, the trees to refresh and renew our air, gravity, perfect spinning balls in the heavens, the SUN that causes burns even if it is 93,000,000 miles away from the Earth, kittens, color, fragrance, LOVE, real true, WISDOM...

how do I feel about it?

humbled, fall on my face humbled, pull myself back up and tell others about it humbled..

I mean he INVITES us to take time to talk to HIM.. Can you believe it?

He lets us in on his plans, IF WE CARE?... unreal.

Not only for the LEADER of the UNIVERSE who allows puny nothings to lead their own lives ONLY to mess up while he says "I AM HERE, trying to teach you to benefit yourself,

come take refuge in me. Come to me, I will help you and forgive you.

STAY in from the cold and howling wolves and wind, and I will make you warm, I will teach you how to work and should you fall asleep in death, I will keep you in my memory and bring you back when it is safe,

I will send MY VERY BEST to teach you and show you and die like you, to help you.

How do I feel about that name. Love and humbled.

That's why I tell people about THAT God, over any other gods.

Just like his most beloved son and our reining, (his appointed) King did.

I will uphold that name on high and I will sigh deeply when it is ridiculed.

Knowing Jesus is coming to take care of that.

We refrain from calling Him Jehovah because someone might think we were Jehovah's Witnesses and we sure don't want that. God knows we are talking to Him when we call him God. Jehovah's Witnesses have hijacked God's name and linked it to a belief that is anything but what He had in mind, for this reason many Christian groups do not use the name Jehovah very often.

Blessed, just to think that the highest life form from which all has been created listen to our prayers. At John 3:16 we read that Jehovah loved all man so much that he sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to redeem man from what Satan through Adam caused, the end of life for man.

Jehovah's name means "He causes to become.

To know that we can have a personal relationship with the one and only true God Jehovah is mind bogging.

I will not call my God by a tittle, I will not place Jesus in his Father role, Matt 6:9 says that we are to make "Holy" Gods name, this is told to us by Jesus himself.

The Bible Teach book answers this better than I ever can.

It draws attention to Jehovah’s qualities. The very first chapter answers the questions: Does God really care about you?, What is God like?, and Is it possible to get close to God? That chapter also highlights Jehovah’s holiness (par. 10), his justice and compassion (par. 11), his love (par. 13), his power (par. 16), and his mercy, graciousness, willingness to forgive, patience, and loyalty (par. 19). Paragraph 20 sums up the matter by stating: “The more you learn about Jehovah, the more real he will become to you and the more reason you will have to love him and feel close to him."

Jehovah is truly wonderful as His creation declares.

well, i suppose i'll join the 'answer hidden due to low rating" crowd at the bottom.

it is a 12th century catholic mispronunciation of the divine name that was taken up by a group of heretics in the 20th century.

much prefer yahweh. the root is hayah, to exist. i am, the self existent one. nothing about proving to be.

jehovah means "demon of ruin' or 'whore of mischief". ain't witnessing for a demon or a whore, personally.

i don't prefer the name jesus either. yahshua, = yah (i am) our salvation. jesus could mean "hail zeus".

but unfortunately hardly anyone knows the true name above all names.

    I love the devine name.

    (I don't like Yahve).

100 % convinced to use this name, because "Jesus" was not the name of God's son, it was the greek translation of his name (Iesos), and for example "Peter" is called in different languages by different namens:

    French: Pierre

    Spanish: Pedro

    Italian: Pietro

    German: Petrus

But the most intriguing argument: Jehovah himself accepts this name as his name, as every JW knows. ;-)

    Jesus is Jehovah.

    Jesus is The LORD

    Jesus is JHVH

    Jesus is JHWH

    Jesus is YAHWEH

    What ever name you choose.

A nice name, but the name of JESUS is #1!

"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord JESUS, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Colossians 3:17).

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow" (Philippians 2:9-10).

After Peter preached that Jesus was both Lord and Christ, he commanded baptism in the name of JESUS(Acts 2:36-38).

When the Samaritans accepted Philip's preaching about Jesus, they were baptized in the name of JESUS (Acts 8:12, 16).

The name God's spiritual family bears is JESUS (Ephesians 3:14-15).

JESUS is the only saving name (Acts 4:12).

JESUS is the only name that remits sin (Acts 10:43).
