Best beauty inventions?

In you opinion, what are some beauty "inventions" that you find really really useful and that you're glad someone came up with?

For me it would have to be:

- tweezers (definitely!! haha)

- bobby pins (esp. the ones that match your hair)

- Q-tips

- hair ties (esp. the small transparent ones)

    Nail polish- hides ugly nails... you know the ones... dented and discoloured... bleh.

    Also, skin toner. I must agree with tweezers.
