How does one deal with being the "whipping boy" of a group of friends?
Around my circle of friends i'm generally the one who is always the but of the joke. I'm fine with most of the stuff that i go through because it's done with friends and the intention behind it is never anything more that playfully goading. Lately though, some of the acts that my friends target towards me seem to feel very slightly like a personal dig. Throwing snowballs, moving my tent around when we were camping, etc... it can get a bit much at times. They're decent people (i'm aware of how in denial i sound at this moment) and it's all laddish fun. But i think i need a better way to deal with this sort of stuff.
I don't bother retaliating anymore because they see that as a challenge and rise to it in a way i can never best.
What should i do?

Tell them that they're getting carried away with it. Be serious when you tell them and ask them to back off a little. Then don't hang out with them as much for a while.

Don't know how old your are..first off call one out and kick the crap out of him..A joke is fine but not at your expense every time...Your not a whipping boy for no one...there not friends for they do not respect you...With friends like that you don't need enemies...depends on how old you guys are...Its not Landis fun when its at your expense...You call out one wise guy and make a statement..That's what you should do...You want a friend get yourself a dog.

my friends do the same thing to me (even tho im a girl) and i askd my bff exactly why they all do, (even my guy friends do it to, plus my bf) and she said its bc of the way i react. and i just rattled off, well how can i control that? and of course she just shrugged her shoulders. And, yes sometimes these girls r complete b- itches about the crap they pull, most of the time i didnt over react i just did my best to ignor it. i think that over time im starting to become immune, and i seriously let them know when they're crossing a line, and they can usually catch on when im tickd.

Tell them it's not funny anymore.
If they refuse to stop, find new friends. :-)
