What does the CBC lab suggest?

WBC 11.9

Absolute Neutrophils 7140

Absolute Monocytes 1071

All other factors within normal range.

    Different labs have different "normal" ranges but this CBC overall appears pretty normal. I assume you wouldn't have posted the WBC if it wasn't outside of the normal range. The white blood cell count is either on the high end of normal or mildly elevated. WBC elevation can be due to infection, stress, medications, etc. The Neutrophil and Monocyte counts are also pretty normal.

    Nothing. That's a marginal leukocytosis and really isn't meaningful. You can't get nearly so much information out of WBC counts as the textbooks might have you believe, as they generally have very poor predictive value.
