In my opinion, I would suggest using Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or another web browser that is under the malware radar... Internet explorer and Outlook Express (Windows mail/Windows live) are the most targeted software a computer users can use.
Don't use I.E. or MS e-mail and you have avoided a great deal of malware, Trojans, and virus attacks...
There are many different web browsers: you might be well served not to use I.E. as your default web browser

I presume you have an active updated anti-viral package, if not download a free one:
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition
Avast Home Edition - Free Antivrus
Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus
I would also suggest downloading, installing, updating and scanning your system with both Malwarebytes and Spybot Search & Destroy, they may discover what has attacked your web browser...
malwarebytes

Have you downloaded something in recent times that's virus susceptible? You will have to get a powerful Anti virus comparable to Norton so it could actually preclude all of the adware you have got. The spyware and adware that is to your laptop is affecting your present web browser so it runs fairly sluggish and does not even paintings. Try rebooting your laptop or improving it so it could actually paintings once more. Everything gets misplaced however it is well at the turn part. If you get the antivirus you'll then do a procedure test and can delete all viruses and spyware and adware to your laptop.

Well, the only advice I can give you is, don't use Internet Explorer, use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome (although Chrome has some fails on ActiveX)
