How long will it take my period to come back after I stop birth control?

I started taking birth control from Oct 23-Nov.23 and then stopped since my spouse and I decided we wanted to try and conceive. We've been trying to get pregnant since Nov and its now Dec.27 and still no period, could I possibly be pregnant or did stop taking birth control make my period a no show for almost 40 days now??.. Help! Thanks!

It's different for different people. Some stop the pill and get their period right away. Some people stop the pill and get pregnant that first cycle and some people stop the pill and don't get their period for as long as a year after. It all depends on what type of pill, the strength of the dose and how your body chooses to react to the pill and lack thereof. If you haven't had a period yet, I'd say take a test just to make sure you aren't already pregnant, and if you aren't, then call your gyno and make an appointment to discuss what's going on. IF you had an irregular period before starting the pill, it could mean you need to go back on the pill awhile to regulate your cycle before jumping off.

I stopped my birth control and got my period 3 days later (I stopped in the middle of a pack). My husband and I started trying immediately and got pregnant the first month of trying to conceive. Maybe you are preggo!? It's possible!!!

it differs from individual to individual. me it took a month. good extra like 35days.. however while you difference outta the tablet like that, your frame demands time to get again to a steady agenda so as to talk. provide it time. endurance is a advantage! exceptionally in case your seeking to conceive. do not strain your self out or you can make it worse. it which means your interval. it is going to take longer, and many others. strain messes the frame up so unhealthy!! so check out to not consider "im seeking to conceive!!" in any other case....
