Ahhhh yes I have been here!

As long as it's not through any of the silver type wires you can use what's called a shrink tube. You can buy them from any hardware store slip them over the cord onto the spot and then use the heating gun to almost melt it on. It is totally safe since it only melts the tube not the actual cord. I have been here and done this, it works!

Get a new cord lol its funny because my puppy did the same thing when she was small. Just try not to leave anything around like shoes, socks, cords important things you wouldn't want to get chewed by your puppy because it doesn't know any better right now since it's small but start teaching it.

Get a new cord, it won't be worth it if you get a power surge and screw up the whole computer. If you really can't afford a new cord, at the very least cover the chewed area with black electrical tape. Good luck

  • First off get him something to chew on like a Kong. He's most likely teething. Second off, electrical tape on your laptop cord until you can get a replacment. Universal cords are cheaper and just as effective.

If the internal wires are visible but not damaged you can wrap electrical tape around it ( tightly).

Please, learn to puppy proof your home until the pup is over the chew stage ( which can last until they are about 2)

replace it and don't let the puppy chew on the next one.

Keep a close eye on him for the next week. Anything that seems different take him to the vet.
