I'm a person on the internet. That's all you need to know.

  • Can you transport a midtower pc via greyhound?

Yeah I'm used to traveling with my desktop rig (And hwo to properly pack it for travel too), but not quite sure if anyone knows anything about doing that on the greyhound or general bus lines. They weren't helpful at all because they claimed they didn't know. I realize it has to be checked baggage, obviously. But does anyone know anything about this?

  • Can someone else be served with a court summons that has my name on it?

Okay here's the thing. Capital One is suing me PAST the statutes of limitations. That's fine. Talked with my lawyer, all will be good. But what I want to know is:

Can my rommate (whose not related to me), legally accept the court summons without my knowledge or when I wasn't even there? The "lizards" on Capital One's behalf have a court order against showing up to serve me at work or even harass me. So they came to my property. She told me after I got home, but I thought you could only serve the person's name who is on the papers themselves. This is in Illinois btw. I tried looking it up in the legal law for IL but got lost in the legal speak.

  • Sump Pump won't shut off after draining water?

I'm not a plumber first off. The guy who usually comes and fixes this stuff for me ( A Friend) is buried under snow atm. Here's the problem:

The sump pump drained water out of the house. It's a top mounted pipe (along with the wires) and the motor on top and the pump down below. The Float is working normally. It's not rubbing against anything. The cords are not being sucked in as their tied down so they cannot. Water is trickling in but the pump is constantly sucking preventing the hole from being filled up even with a simple 1 inch of water down below. I think the pump itself is shot, but I would like to know what other people think?

  • What Dog Food Do You Feed Your Dogs?

I suggest Authority as a good low cost, but high quality brand for people on a budget. I started my German Shepherd on Authority before I was financially able to step her up.

  • Why did railroads sometimes use 2 or three cabooses on one train?

I've looked and never really found an answer. But I have this picture of a Burlington Northern Train that had 3 cabooses at the end. I know a caboose before they were phased out were mostly used as brakes at the rear, and even on short line transfers today, the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern uses a caboose on certain trips. But what reasons would there be to use 3 on one train?

  • Should I Get A Collar or A Harness For Leash Training A Husky?

Currently my new husky, Kita, is being leash trained. As an outside dog when she was seized she didn't get to exercise much but I decided to leash train her. She tends to pull when walking. Now she's an adult dog and I know ho" to leash train. My Question is I want to know is about the equipment i.e. Collars, Harness, Leash, etc. Should I get her a normal collar or a leash harness? I want a collar/harness that will let me train her without hurting her or having her choke herself on it. She tends to bound off more then a normal husky because she's never been able to do this and I'm concerned about her choking herself when I follow my Leash Training Techniques (Turn around and let her walk back to you when she pulls, rewarding her.)

  • How do you slowly adjust a Husky to a new home?

Actually this is a bit more complex then that. I've owned Huskies before, but none were like this one. She was a seized husky who was forced to live outside and is having a problem adjusting to living in a house and not being on a tie up. She just seems to lay around with me and doesn't seem to be very active or want to eat. The vet said to wait 3 days and if she isn't adjusted or eating by then it could be a medical problem. But the vet when I took her home gave her a full physical and said she was fine.

Any advice to make this girl feel more at home?

  • How do I remove a bicycle's stuck rear axle bolt?

On my mountain bike the rear right side nut comes off but when I try to remove the left side where the derailleur is mounted it just won't budge. Is there a good way to get it to come loose?
