How hard is it to install a turbo?
And which turbos can I use? For example, if I want to buy an 2001 BMW 520, can I install the turbo that alfa romeo now puts on their 1750cc engines? Because that turbo is state of art and amazing :) :) Or are there a lot of things to consider? And how much would that alfa romeo turbo cost approx.?

A turbocharger isn't something you just slap in like an air filter. It must be engineered to fit and work with your engine. If you have to ask on this forum, then you don't have the knowledge or the skills to do this modification.

In order to put a turbo on a car you need to look at where is it going to fit in, you'll need to get a new manifold and exhaust to be able to bolt it on, plus a new intake to hook it up to. Next you need to look at the motor your going to put it on will it take the extra pressure from the turbo? With enough time and money you can do it.
