anyone else not get anything for christmas?

I see so many questions asking"what did you get for christmas" and people with long lists of things they received. For the people who didn't get anything. How does that make you feel? I know it's not about the gifts but It kinda made me feel like crap that I didn't get anything. Anyone else?

I didn't. This is the first year in my life since I started working that I didn't buy anyone anything, either.

Christmas is not 'American Christmas' unless you have a kid who still believes in Santa and a family. I'm a bachelor with no kids and no family. Kinda takes a lot of the shine off of it.

It's happened to me before, but I just sucked it up and didn't say anything about it. Like the others, I wish I could send you a gift. I wonder if there's a way we can. Anyone have any ideas?

PS It made me feel like crap, too.

I didn't get any material gifts either. But my little 3 month old brother survived a serious apnea attack on Christmas day, and I'm thankful for that.
