My Kenmore washer will not agitate or spin?
It will fill and drain. Is there any way to get it repaired or will I just have to get a new washer?

It is possible that the motor coupling is broken. check the following site to see how to check it. It also has a video on how to fix it. Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. ...Good Luck...

There are little "dog" or catches in the top of the agitator that ware out. Go online to sears, and enter the Model number. The dogs only cost a few dollars. I am assuming here that the "wig wag" sounds like it is working but the agitator isn't going back and forth. You will need a few hand tools and a socket set to get it done.

i would just get a new washer...sounds like the motor is done...and a new motor would cost as much a a new washer itself!

it is the motor mine went 2 months ago how old is your? mine was about 3 years old but i garranty it is the motor.
