Baby rolling on belly during sleep? (6 months)?
My daughter is rolling onto her belly at night. She gets really upset and starts crying. Usually it only happens once a night once a week or so. Last night it was 4-5 times. She's a back-sleeper. Anybody have any ideas on what to do here? Usually we just let her cry it out, but when she gets in that state, she becomes inconsolable. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is probably from her back hurting and when she rolls over it doesn't ease the pain much either, of course we all roll over many times a night and need to reposition so blood doesn't stop flowing to our parts.
You could try rolling up a couple towels into tube shapes about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide, place two of these rolls one on each side of her, when she rolls she will meet resistance and may squirm and then relax when she realizes she can't roll over.
Another suggestion is a tube sock with 3 tennis balls in it on either side.

I had that problem with my son around that age and I started using a sleep positioner to train him to sleep on his back or side. You can also use a rolled up blanket on either side of her to keep he from rolling to her stomach. Good luck!

let her sleep on her belly if she gets herself that way she is fine just let her get herself comfortable and leave her be. As long as there is nothing in the crib she is fine
