Because Alabama controlled the flow of the game by running the football and kept the ball away from the Gators. I think Bama does the same in the National Championship against Texas. Florida was really lacking their own run game so they became a one-sided offense and allowed the Tide to just get after the QB and not worry about the run. The same with happen against Texas as the Longhorns lack a run game as well. I don't think Harvin or Dunlap would've made a difference in the game honestly.

It had nothing to do with the absence of harvin or dunlap. Alabama just dominated and were more prepared. Florida never saw it coming. Cry Tebow cry.

little late to be asking this question, but ill answer it anyways...
1. Alabama > Florida
2. Florida=overrated
Bad day or not, Florida got beat pretty bad, so don't have another of those days when you play Cincy or the Bearcats will destroy you, not saying that I would enjoy it. Hopefully all SEC teams win their bowls.

Florida picked the wrong day to have a bad day. Looked like Bama has the better team.
