Any recommendations for car seat pillow for a baby?

My husband and I just purchased our car seat today and we really like it. The only problem is when our baby comes we know he will be tiny so it head and body will likely move a bit as we drive. So in order to prevent that and to make him more comfortable (the car seat doesn't have a ton of padding) I would like to get him a car seat pillow. I have looked at Walmart (none) and Target so far. Target has a few I like but some people are freaking me out saying it's not recommended to buy one since all car seats are different. But then others are saying their hospitals actually recommend buying one. Any suggestions on what to get, or what to do? Thanks.

We had low-birth weight twins - 5 lbs 1 oz and 5 lbs 4 oz so they were tiny in their infant carriers.

Our hospital showed us how to roll up receiving blankets and place them on either side of the baby. Due to our twins size, they also had to go through a car seat test where they were placed in the seat, hooked up to oxygen monitors and watched for 90 minutes. They did not recommend pillows because you could not control it and set it as much. You want padding on the sides, not behind their head because if their head falls forward, they may not be able to move it back and it could cut off their airways.

Congrats and best wishes for a happy & healthy delivery!

Nothing is recommended per our local police station who installed our infant seat. You should not add anything to the seat because it can compromise the safety of the seat. Most car seats come with this little padded ring that you use when they are newborns. Don't listen to the hospital, they do not research car seat safety. Talk to a local car seat inspector in your area.
