A friend of mine just married. She wants to get pregnant badly and her husband isn't ready to start trying till the end of next year. She told me today she is going to poke holes in their condoms before sex and hope she gets pregnant "on accident." I told her it's not a good idea and they BOTH need to be ready for a baby. Etc. etc. She said the chances of getting pregnant anyways are super slim because the *** won't seep through pin holes. My questions are. Is this true? Also, should I tell her husband? Or butt out?

My son is just a bit over 4wks old and he has a heat rash between his eyes and a long his eyebrows. Is there anything I can use to help heal it? It looks pretty uncomfortable. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I'm 25wks and 1day pregnant and have been layed off until further notice. It has nothing to w/ being pregnant, just lack of work. Does anyone know how long unemployment benefits last in New York State?

I'm 24wks and 2days today. All day long I have felt my son moving two places at once. I place my hand over my belly and at the finger tips I feel pushing and at the bottom of my hand (lower palm) I feel movement. I can move my hand away and even see the movement. Is this is head and legs kicking around? Maybe hands and legs? I have to say it's pretty uncomfortable at times, like a drilling!

My husband and I just purchased our car seat today and we really like it. The only problem is when our baby comes we know he will be tiny so it head and body will likely move a bit as we drive. So in order to prevent that and to make him more comfortable (the car seat doesn't have a ton of padding) I would like to get him a car seat pillow. I have looked at Walmart (none) and Target so far. Target has a few I like but some people are freaking me out saying it's not recommended to buy one since all car seats are different. But then others are saying their hospitals actually recommend buying one. Any suggestions on what to get, or what to do? Thanks.

My husband and I are due with our first baby in June and I know I'm going to be one of those Mom's that want to sleep near my baby for the first few months. I was wondering if I could use a Pack N Play at night and be fine or should be just spend the extra $50.00 for a bassinet? Thanks!

In order to make it easier for my husband and I this year we're going to make "gift bags" for the family. I'm thinking about making Sugar Cookies, and buying gift cards to maybe Walmart, FYE or Bath & Body Works (depending on the person), but what else could we stuff in a bag? I'm thinking maybe 3-4 more things! Thanks!!

I'm trying to make rice crispy balls for halloween and the rice krispy cereal is super sticky (or I should say the marshmallows) so I'm unable to make a ball! How can I make them not so sticky and able to form them the way I want?

Anyone else this far a long and have no morning sickness? I have had one day of "eww gross" because of a smell but nothing major.

I'll be 5 weeks tomm. and my cramps get super bad at night once I fall asleep. It seems as if my bladder thinks it's "full" then I get them. I used a warm pack and tylenol and that's pretty much all I can do. My levels will be tested (HcG) this coming Tuesday and my doc. wants to wait until he gets the results to have me come in for an appointment.

Does anyone else have cramping like this? Btw, prior to getting pregnancy I had severe cramps. It's just in my gene's a guess!

Oh and I'm not bleeding/spotting *knock on wood*

I found out I was pregnant yesterday (will be 4 weeks tomm.) and I have had some severe cramps on and off. They usually last anywhere from 10-20 min. but last night I have them so bad I had to take some tylenol. About 15 min. later they were dull enough so I could go back to sleep. Then I woke up thinking I had to pee really bad but I didn't! So let's just say I didn't get much sleep. Anyways, is the cramping normal? Is there anything I can do about it to help relieve them? I honestly don't feel that something is wrong (I had a M/C back in April and I knew then something wasn't right) so I don't want to rush and call the doc.

I test (at the earliest this Wed. the 30th) but I should wait till the 2nd of Oct. (I would be 12 DPO). Did you have any symptoms prior to testing or was it like AF was going to show? Thanks!

My dog ran into our kitchen wall last night and his eyes are now super puffy this morning, even sort of pink. He doesn't seem to be in pain and he's still running around but I was wondering if I could give him any home meds. like advil, tylenol etc. for the swelling?

I'm getting married on August 22nd and we are having tacos to eat. We need to figure out how much hamburger we need in order to feed about 120 people (max). I figured 1 lb would feed 2 people b.c that's what I use to make tacos/hamburger helper for my fiance and I. However the best man believes we will need 120 lbs, I believe we need 70 lbs at most.

What are your opinions??

I had a miscarriage on April 25th and was 5 weeks 5 days a long. I started to spot brown on the 22nd and here it is May 4th and I'm STILL spotting brown and sometimes bleeding dark red into a pad or light tampon. I called my OB and left a msg. but won't hear back till late tomm. Is this normal? It's now been 12 days...it's getting annoying and we wanted to try again this coming Wednesday!

I have a 10 week old puppy (German Shepard/Husky Mix) and he sniffs everything all the time! I know he doesn't have to go to the bathroom since he's just been out, so I'm not sure what it is. He smells the carpets for the most part, and sometimes the couch and the cat! Poor thing. Any ideas?

I just got a tracfone today from my parents and they said to go onto the tracfone website and get a new SIMS card, which was free. I went onto the website and can't find crap!! Where do I go?!
