Car electrical problems?
Here's the situation:
-1 month ago I needed a jump start. Since then car has started quickly without problems
-Last Thursday everything started out normally. As I opened the driver's door the dome light came on. Dashboard lights were on. When I turned the key to start the engine, everything went black. There was no "chugging" like a car trying to start, just a click and then nothing electrical working. No dome light, no dash lights, no radio, no clock. Even my electronic door locking wasn't working.
Is this a simple dead battery? Faulty battery? Wiring? What?
Cables are securely fastened to the battery. I checked with a volt meter (engine still off) and the battery read 12.33 volts. Could a battery with a bad cell or two still read 12 volts?

Well, how old is your car, or how old is it since you got a new battery for your car? Usually when you have had to jump it before, then that means your battery can't hold a charge to long any more. This is especially the case if you can't even lock your door, which takes more power to operate then your dash lights. Try jumping it. If you can get it started, then go get a new battery. If you can't get it started, then still go get a new battery. If that doesn't fix it, well then check your alternator, because it might be going.
Hope this helps!

Probably a bad connection on your battery. Wiggle the connections,

Battery is bad - might be just one cell inside, but it needs replacement

before you go and buy a new battery check your battery cables and make sure they are tight. If they are then you probably have a bad battery.
