Income Limit to Sponsor immigrant in US?
Does anyone here know what the MINIMUM income limit requirement is to sponsor an immigrant in the US? I know for one individual it's 125 percent over poverty level...but how is that calculated? I read that the poverty level is 10,800, so what would you need to make in order be able to support someone...anyone know? thanks.

It depends on the sponsor's household size including the sponsorees (read the I-864 instructions carefully to make sure that you calculate that correctly). The poverty guidelines are in I-864P which is available at the link below.
