I hate to tell you this... but T-Pain is a robot.

Born in 1983 in a village in Burkina Faso, Thadeus Mudabe Derab Akon Hunam Ali (known by his family as Tad) was quick to becoming a successful businessman in his home country. Unfortunately, Tad was in a horrible automobile accident which left him a mess of human flesh. Top American scientists found the body and brought it back to the states. They were originally going to mutate him into a super solider, but that plan failed. All they could do is bring him back to health with robotics, eternally changing his vocal cords to create the robot effect falsely credited as "auto-tune". the scientists released Tad, now known by his project code name "T-Pain", upon the American music industry. The rest is history.

autotune. He uses it in every single song. I've always said that if someone doesn't know what autotune is then just look up T-Pain because the guy is the definition of autotune.
